I made chicken shawarma completely from scratch, blending my own shawarma spice mix and marinating boneless chicken thighs with fresh lemon, tomato paste, yogurt, olive oil, and garlic. 🌯🔥 I stacked the chicken on a vertical skewer and roasted it in a wood-fired oven, while making fresh bread, crispy fries, pickles, sumac onions, and creamy toum garlic sauce. 🧄🔥 Sliced straight off the skewer and wrapped fresh for an incredibly juicy, smoky chicken shawarma. 🤤🌯
